The Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I) strategy defines our clear vision and confirms that ED&I presents a critical thread that runs through the project. This document defines the Consortium’s approach, objectives and how they are implemented.

This deliverable details the Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation (CDE) Strategy for Engage 2. It details the communication goals, high-level messages and dedicated media with the aim of making the project understandable and recognisable at a first glance. The Engage 2 CDE Strategy has been developed during the first months of the project and is included in WP6 – Communication, dissemination and exploitation. Deep Blue team, as WP6 leader, will be responsible for the overall implementation, management and the support to the activities defined under the present CDE Strategy, and will develop the main tools and materials to be used during the project, in line with the S3JU Communications Strategy.

This document serves primarily as a record for the SESAR3 JU of the selection process of the Thematic Challenges. The Thematic Challenges will address research topics not currently (sufficiently) addressed by SESAR3 (and its predecessor programs like SESAR and SESAR2020), and will be supported by dedicated workshops. The call for thematic challenges was open on the Engage 3 website between July and October 2023, with proposals submitted via an on-line form. 21 proposals were received and were all subsequently evaluated by members of the Engage 2 Awards Board. Evaluation criteria including weights and thresholds are presented.

This report describes the tirteenth edition of the SESAR Innovation Days, which took place at the University of Seville between 27th and 30th November 2023. Out of 74 submissions, 42 papers were retained and presented at the SIDs. All papers can be downloaded from the SIDs website and the Engage 2 homepage.

The Data Management Plan (DMP) describes the data management life cycle for the data collected, processed and generated by the project. The Deliverable is the outcome of T1.2. The DMP will be updated over the course of the project whenever significant changes arise (e.g. new data or new regulation).

Engage 2, the new Knowledge Transfer Network of SESAR3, has launched its first call for thematic challenges to support the upcoming calls for PhDs and catalyst project fundings.

Engage 2 has officially started. The kick-off meeting, hosted by Deep Blue – Project Coordinator – took place in Rome on the 13th and 14th of June 2023 and gathered together representatives of all the partners involved.
